Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. The majority of her youth listening to classic music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes along with classic classical music. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. Her mother taught her to sing, but she began more intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. When she moved in the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she moved to Southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. The love she has for performing, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and educator. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
